Ahoy there Matey's
It’s National Talk
like a Pirate day!
We have fun Pirate Activities to do
in your Classroom!
You can come up with Pirate names to give each child for the day and give them an eye patch or pirate hat to start off the day.
All you need to create this is some expo markers.
Tis Be Arts and Crafts time!
Grab some paper, Paint and a
Scallywags hand and paint the hand as shown in the photo, then have them stamp
it on the paper.
Have the children use a marker to add the face once its dry and decorate the
pirate cap with white paint.
What pirate doesn't like TREASURE?
On a piece of construction paper, write a math
problem out for each child to solve.
Have them trace their hand prints and cut them out or cut out treasure
chests and have them glue the treasure to the
hands/chests showing how they solved the problem. Argh you ready for some Language Arts practice?
X marks the spot! Print out words that all have
the AR sound in them and hide the x's around the classroom for the mateys to
find. Have them write out the words on a sheet of paper, then have them
give a sentence with that word in it.
