One of the largest surfaces in the classroom is the bulletin board. You may even have one by the entrance door. Make it bright and welcoming for the first week of school. Put a colorful border around it. Consider purchasing a large paper roll for the full background and then use large sheets of single color construction paper to frame the pictures or information you’re presenting. Use punch out letters for the wordage you want. Try not to make it too ‘busy’ but fun and interesting to look at. Parents and children alike will be welcomed!
