DIY PureFUN! Juice Fruit Snacks

What you will need: 1 cup pureed fruit, 1 cup PureFUN! Juice of your choice, 1/4 cup honey, 1 cup cold water and 1/3 cup unflavored gelatin, 1 Sauce Pan, 1 9x9 Cake Pan or Candy Mold

imageStart by putting your fruit into the blender and pureeing it until it is smooth. Once pureed, measure to make sure you have a cup.

Next, add 1 cup of PureFUN! Juice and ¼ cup of honey to your pureed fruit and puree the mixture again until it is smooth. When complete, pour your mixture into a large bowl and place it to the side.

Now you are ready to get your gelatin going. Start by filling a saucepan with 1 cup cold water and stir in the gelatin mix. Note that your mixture will start to thicken and try to solidify as you mix it.

Next, place the mixture over a medium-low heat. Continue to stir the mixture occasionally until the gelatin has dissolved. In between stirring you will you will need to get your ungreased 9" x 9" cake pan or candy molds set up for the next few steps.

The process speeds up a bit here to avoid the mixture hardening while you are trying to pour so be prepared! Once your gelatin has dissolved, pour it into the fruit mixture and whisk them together. Quickly pour the mixture into your cake pan or candy molds and allow it to cool in the refrigerator uncovered for 2 to 3 hours.

When your mixture has set completely, you are ready to carefully remove it from the cake pan or candy molds. If you chose to use the cake pan, just take a knife and cut it into squares or other shapes to mimic the look of a fruit snack.

Your fruit snacks can be stored in an air tight container at room temperature for 2 to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
