Paper Bag Plant Pot Craft for Daycares

Paper Bag Pot - Don't use the paper bag just to hold a clay pot - use it for the pot!

This craft is perfect for summer in any daycare or childcare center. Kids love crafts and they love plants.  Use this FUN! Brown Paper Bag Pot craft in your daycare today! It is so simple and so fun! Leave your newly potted plants by the window and watch as they grow! Materials Needed:

1 brown paper lunch bag

1 quart size Ziploc bag

Small pebbles

Potting soil

Flower, herb or grass seeds

Instructions:

Step 1: Very carefully fold down bag 6 times, making 1" folds

Step 2: Place Ziploc bag in lunch bag, folding over edges onto lunch bag

Step 3: Place a thin layer of pebbles in bottom of bag

Step 4: Place 2 cups of potting soil in bag

Step 5: Put a few seeds in soil and water lightly

Step 6: Put in a lighted area and watch it grow!
